A little about PJ

PJ is the owner and head mechanic at PJ’s Pedalworks, a bicycle repair service rooted right here on Fox Island. After marrying his wife, PJ made Fox Island home in 2014, though he’s spent decades riding, racing, and working throughout the Pacific Northwest.

With a lifetime in the bicycle world, PJ’s experience spans every side of the industry—from navigating Seattle streets as a bicycle messenger, to racing competitively, to working with corporate Raleigh, and of course, years as a hands-on bicycle mechanic. In 2024, PJ opened PJ’s Pedalworks to bring that depth of knowledge, precision, and passion for bikes to his local community.

Whether it’s a simple tune-up or a full overhaul, PJ believes every bike deserves expert care and every rider deserves honest service.
